From January 2012 onwards, Foundation Innoves and Foundation Andalusian School of Social Economy (EAES) will organize a professional training courses on the commercialization and internationalization of cultural industries in Sevilla and Malaga, Spain. In February 2012, Foundation Innoves will also organize a networking event for all organizations, institutions and enterprises of the cultural sector.

In Brussels on 17 November 2011, the P&V Foundation awarded its 7th Citizenship Prize to Stéphane Hessel. This prize is given to Belgian or international people, initiatives or organisations who invest in an exemplary way in a more open, democratic and tolerant society. The panel of the 2011 Prize wanted to shed light on citizens’ ability to turn unacceptable situations around. “Recalling the values of the resistance movement should enable young people not to fall into indifference,” explains Stéphane Hessel. This man of 94 goes around the world rekindling hope – “Be indignant! It is possible to act on and within your time”, he writes in his pamphlet which has sold over three million copies throughout the world. His message has been heard in the Arab states, in Spain, in Greece, in fact almost everywhere in Europe – not to mention on Wall Street.
